The sun rose slowly upon each dune of sand on the dry island of Bikanel. The clear blue sky showed no sign of rain, nor anything but clouds. Within the dunes of the sand lay the newly constructed, Al Bhed 'Home'. On the warm August day, the Al Bhed mother, sister of Cid was to give birth to her second child.
